day 1 of physio

wow.. after a sleepless nite.. i had to make my way over to Alexandra Hospital again. This time it is for my first physio treatment at the sports clinic. i came in from the main lobby of the hospital only to realise that the clinic i was supposed to be at aint the one i usually visit for physio treatment before my surgery. it was at the other end of the place. In the end i had to spend 10 min slowly making my way through the hospital n roads to get to my intended destionation. Nowadays, its such a chore to actually walk. In fact i cant really walk normally. Well, at least not without the aid of cluthes.

So, finally met my new physio therapist. Like they say, looks can be deceiving. Despite looking petite and with a face that seem so nice, i am about to suffer at her hands. Firsly, she made me realise how far i was away from my goal of being able to run. Worst thing was.. i couldnt even straighten my knee and lift it up without feeling my knee is going to snap.
okie. so i did some simple excercise on the small bed and the machines. But what is going to happen next is terrible. they made me sit on the bed and place a device attached to my thighs with tape. One attendant adjusted the device meant to transmit electric pulses to my leg.at first the sensation wasnt so bad, just a tickling pricking sensation. Along came my therapist, and she said ," its not meant for you to relax , this is not massage u know." then she started adjusting is higher and higher. "okie?" she asked. But still she keep adjusting it higher till i buay tahan and cried"ouch.." walau. she set it so high.. every time the device is activated my leg literally flew up . involuntary contraction of my muscle. sucks. In all, i had to endure 15 min .. 15 shocks.. terrible.

anyway, the treatment was so tiring.. i slept straight away after i gt home.. haiz. im missing out on a lot of fun... this holiday really is yucky.
